Taxes Taxes Taxes!

If you're anything like me, you've been working on your taxes. I've been calculating everything I made last year via the internet and I am pretty surprised. It's in the $1,000s. I can't believe that blogging and completing surveys has added up to that much!

How about you? How much did you make last year? Would you say that 2006 was profitable for you? I've learned a lot in a year. That's for sure, and I'm sure you have too. Taking surveys is not really what I want to be doing as far as making money online, but that doesn't mean I won't be completing them here and there. I will also be continuing my search for companies that do pay so you won't be left in the dark or paying for the information instead of getting it for free. And, of course, whenever I come across a really great freebie, I'll be posting that too.

That being said, I haven't begun to calculate what I made from my pedal car website last year. It is going to be my primary focus for 2007 as you may have been noticing. I wholeheartedly suggest that you look into learning what it takes to get a website up and running and profitable. It is a lot of work at the outset, but it is worth it.

There are a lot of people online and more and more buying online every year. Don't you think you should get your piece of the pie?

Checks that I'm waiting for.

I've made a few bucks over the past few weeks taking surveys and wanted to list the companies whose checks I'm waiting for. Let's see...there is Global Test Market ($50), then I just received NFO MySurvey's check yesterday ($10). I'm also waiting on a check from Survey Savvy ($4) and a check from Opinion Outpost ($5.50) and I think that's it. I just received a $15 payment from Lightspeed and another $5 payment from some other survey company, but I can't remember who.

I know I have a few bucks more coming to me from Survey Savvy too. Remember that you can make money completing surveys or affiliating. It's all up to you. For the links to any of these companies, check my sidebar. You'll find my Top 16 favorites!

Livewire Surveys Update

I've been on hiatus, if you will, with taking surveys, but there are a few companies that I would not pass up. Livewire is one of those companies. Livewire sends me very few surveys, but when they do send a survey invitation, they always request that you complete a 3 to 10 question qualifier. If you qualify for their study, they then send you another survey to complete within 24 hours.

The reason I don't pass up there surveys is that they pay very well for surveys that take very little time to complete. I've been paid $12, $10 and sometimes $15 for completing a 10 minute survey. I have an affiliate link, but it expires after the first use. The affiliate links are generated per sign up. So, instead, this information is given to you for free with no intent of gaining money from you. Check out Livewire. You may not get many surveys, but the ones you do get will pay nicely!

Making Money Online - It Can Be Pretty Easy!

Making money online can be quite simple and not too time consuming. Do you have a blog? Still in Burn Out Mode!

I haven't done one survey all week. Actually, I did do a few very quick surveys that I knew were not going to take up much time, but I'm still in burn out mode! I've been like this for at least a week now. I still get lots of survey invitations, but I just go in and delete them. I can't believe I'm doing that, but I'm looking for other ways to spend my time making money online. For example, in a previous post from this week, I spoke about a website that I'm working on putting up. That has also been difficult to accomplish this week, but my goal is to get it up and running by either tonight or tomorrow night. That's the goal. We'll see where it goes.

I'm Building a New Website!

I'm building a new website and it's taking up much of my time. I'm hoping to have it up and running this coming week, maybe even today. I've been having such a great experience lately with my first website that I've decided to put up two more. We'll see how it goes, but I recommend that if you are looking to make money online, you find a way to build an e-commerce website. Obviously it's not just about building a website, but finding out how to get visitors to your site. If you have a blog you have learned a few ways to do this. Opinion Outpost

I don't know about you, but I'm finding that I'm getting a lot of surveys from Opinion Outpost lately. Their offers are pretty good, sometimes offering up to $8.50 for a 45 minute survey. For the most part I've been receiving offers to complete surveys in the range of $2 - $4.50, but I'm not complaining. You only need to reach $5 to cash out. This means taking one or two surveys. That's really not too bad considering some other survey companies that I've come into contact with. So, do you want to join? Global Test Market

Are you a member of Global Test Market yet? I'm not part of their affiliate program, but I do suggest you join. If you are already a member, look at this observation. I have not been receiving as many invitations to complete surveys over the last few weeks, but this does not mean I haven't been getting invitations. If you log into your account, at least every other day, you will see that they do have opportunities waiting for you. You must sign in though. It has been my experience that sometimes you get an invitation, but it's too late to complete. The study has been closed. So, if you want to collect on Global Test Market, don't forget to sign into your account at least every other day.

I think I'm Feeling Survey Taker Burn Out - Again!

A few months back, I was in this slump and didn't want to take another survey. I was tired of answering endless questions for 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 20 minutes and sometimes even an hour. I just couldn't look at another survey no matter how much money I was offered. Last week, I earned a pretty penny with my survey companies - almost $100 - and I think I overdid it.

I know you've been here before. I know I'm not the only one, but the survey companies are relentless. They keep sending survey after survey, but the offerings are getting lower and lower. I just can't justify the time I'm spending all of a sudden. Does that mean the end of survey taking for me? Of course not, but I think I'm going to take a little break this weekend and see how I feel on Monday.

Free Amber Alert Kit Update

If you are anxiously waiting until the free Amber Alert Kit is available, you're going to have to wait a little longer. Sadly, when I click on the "ordering" link, I get the following message:
