How Are You Doing this Winter Season?

Are you stressed, burnt out, tired of shopping yet? That's a bad sign, because it's just the beginning. We have a whole month to go before the big day that everyone looks forward to. Well, don't stress out too much or you'll not be able to enjoy your friends and family when they come for that special visit. You'll be too frazzled.

One of the many things that adds to stress this year is growing debt. Are you putting yourself in debt? Are you already in debt and just adding to the bottom line? That's where you have to stop and be realistic! Sometimes, if you don't have the money to get the things you would like, you decide to pull out the credit cards and before you know it, bam! You are in big debt!

Well, take it from a person who is slowly recovering from being on the big debt highway. You have to learn to say, "NO!" and then move on. If you can't afford that big screen t.v. or the top of the line whatchamacallit gadget, just don't buy it. Say, "NO!" and walk away!

Trust me! You will feel better and more free without it. What about the person you were planning on buying it for? Don't think about him/her. I'm sure they will appreciate a small something that shows that you thought of them and I'm sure that if they loved you, they wouldn't want you going into debt just for them. I know you've heard the saying, "The best things in life are free."

This time of year, as should be the case all times throughout the year, people are suppose to be thinking about love and sharing and happiness. At least, that's what I'm trying to focus on. What about you?

Free Hair Loss Advice for the "Fellers!"

I'm sure you know of someone who has or had a problem with hair loss. To some, it is no longer a "problem" but a part of their everyday life just the same. Some have decided to shave off all of their hair and others have decided to wear a wig. Still others decide to get a hair transplant.

If you are of the latter group, I'm sure you have thought about it thoroughly. You may have even researched what hair restoration entails via brochures, medical documents and even the internet.

FellerMedical.com is a free resource for you internet users, so don't miss out on the information they provide especially through the free articles Dr. Feller features on site. The top ten reasons why you shouldn't miss out are located at this url:

http://www.fellermedical.com/hair_transplants/newyork.htm (Copy and paste to your browser).

One of the reasons that stands out to me is:
There are no sales people at Feller Medical. Doctor Feller performs all consultations himself thereby eliminating the middle man and passing the savings on to the patient.
Personal service is always the best service when it comes to a doctor, don't you think?

New Places to Sign Up for Cash!

I'm always looking for new ways to make money and as you know, the other day I introduced you to Money4Blogs.com. That was a move that turned out to be more lucrative for me than I had expected and I am very happy I came across their site.

Now, I've also heard that bloggers can sign up for sites like "reviewme.com" and "inblogads.com" to make some extra money. I signed up for both, but have heard from neither. I think it may have something to do with the holidays, so I'll wait until next week to do a follow up.

I haven't signed up for any new survey companies, but I did get involved in a local market research company that I am planning to complete a taste test for in the next few weeks. The company is called Mars Research. From what I understand, they are looking for people who eat at fast food places and the guy I spoke to at the booth in the mall said that they would like more of a voice from minorities.

So that's my news update. I'm going to be searching for more freebies in the next week or two to go along with the winter season. I just love freebies so be looking out.

Freebie from National Payday!

This is a great freebie for those of you who are in a crunch or who need extra cash now and can't wait until payday. NationalPayday.com offers a great service for persons in a financial predicament and if it's your first time, the service is free. What they do is offer a payday loan or cash advance, if you will.

The transaction can take place online and it's pretty simple. They have a FAQ section too, so if you get stuck, you might find the answer to your question right there. In fact, that is where I found out about their freebie. Here's what it said:
How much does it cost for an online cash advance or no credit check loans online?

The fee for a check advance is 25% of the amount borrowed, so for a $100 loan, the fee is $25, or $125 total due.

Remember, your first loan with us is free as long as it is paid in full on your due date. (Bold font editing done by me.)

FAQ: How does the free payday loan work?

Every new customer is eligible for a free payday loan or cash advance. The loan is free as long as you pay the full balance due (the amount that you borrowed) on your due date. If you decide not to pay in full, the 25% loan fee will be added to whatever balance remains.
So, considering the time of year and the rush to buy buy buy, if you need a quick cash fix, check National Payday out.

Money4Blogs.com - Have You Heard About This One?

I woke up this morning with this motto in my head: "Today is the first day of the rest of your life." I know you've heard that, right? Well it's true and to tell you the truth, the motto is already at work for me. This blog is all about lists of ways to make money online and have I got another site for you! It's called Money4Blogs.

What do you think they do? That's right, they pay you money if you have a blog. Do you think that sounds too good to be true? Could it really be that simple? Well, I would have said that too, but it is true in this case since it happened to me. Their website is located at www.money4blogs.com.

What do you have to do to get paid? Again, it's simple. The very uncomplicated idea here is to place a text link to one of their companies on your blog. Money4Blogs very importantly assures you that these companies' web pages are reputable and purely financial in nature, "with no illegal or obscene content."

In order to get started, all you have do is provide them with a link to your blog. Once they have reviewed your blog, they send you an email and make you an offer. What determines the amount of their offer? It is dependent on your blogs popularity, page rank and age.

After the offer has been made and you accept it, Money4Blogs provides you with the code to place a static link on your blog's sidebar. That's it! Just email them back to let them know the deed is done and voila! Your payment is sent to you immediately either via PayPal or, if you would like, in check form. It's all up to you.

So what are you waiting for? Do you believe today is the first day of the rest of your life? Go to www.money4blogs.com and click on the Red Banner to get the email address for where to submit your blog's link.

A Great Survey Company!

Let me draw a picture of a great survey company to complete surveys for. First you have the product tests that come straight to your home free of charge. Then you have the short survey before and the follow up survey after trying the product. Finally you have 1000 points in your pocket equivalent to a $10 bill. Obtaining points, surveys, product testing and follow up surveys can happen weekly.

I just completed a very long survey (60 minutes), but didn't have to complete it all in one sitting which was a plus. I was paid 1000 points or $10. Most of their surveys that are worth completing are usually upwards of 45 minutes long, but you get paid generously in points that add up. You only need 1000 points to cash out, but there are other ways to use your points that do not require a full 1000 points.

Also, I have a product that I am testing and have been for the past two weeks. I earned points for participating in the initial survey that determined whether I would be a good candidate to test the product. I then received the product a few weeks later and finally, I will be completing a survey that will earn me more points.

The survey company I'm referring to is NFO MySurvey.com! Join Today!

Selling on Ebay.

I can't seem to sell what I am trying to sell on eBay. I hear so many good things about becoming a seller, but those good things aren't really happening to me. A month or two ago, I did sell something for a lot less than I thought it was worth, but I was so happy because it was my first sale. I was elated also because it was the first time I tried to sell something. Since then, I have tried to sell four other items and each of them three different times. No one thought they were worth the price I put them up for.

Buyers are really looking for super good items to purchase but for $0.99. How do you sellers do it? I really would like to know. I want to try again, but I've paid more trying to sell than I've made, so I'm becoming a little gun shy.

Please click the comment button below and let me know what you have done to be successful on eBay.

Black Friday and Why You Should Do All Your Shopping Online!

Black Friday is on its way so get ready for all those long lines at the malls and that horrible backlog of street traffic. Get ready to wake up really early to get the discount. Get ready for stores going haywire and stock being thrown all over the place. Get ready for ugly customers and fighting over parking spots. Get ready to fight for that last item on the shelf and did I say long lines? Is the discount really worth the wait? Oh, and get ready for the stress.

I know this sounds like I don't like to shop, but that's not true by a long shot. I love to shop and I love the last month of the year. It's one of my favorite times of year. However, it can be very stressful, so why not think about shopping online. Save time, money and energy. Be at peace this year. By the way, my online store is open 24/7, so you don't even have to worry about store closing times or opening times. Shop till you drop online.

If you are curious, come have a look at our wonderful toddler products: QualityPedalCars.com

Paying the Bills at Home!

I have been pulling long hours trying to make ends meet lately. I remember going to work and knowing at the end of the day that I had made x amount of dollars. It's not like that with a work at home job, at least, not mine. What you make is directly related to how much you put into what you do. When I worked in an office outside of the house, sometimes even when there was no work, I'd get paid.

I was always busy, but sometimes, just sitting around and talking to co-workers was an acceptable way to pass the down time and the money still flowed. Now that is not the case. Actually, that's not totally true. My online business is functioning pretty well. I still have to advertise and so forth, but I can sleep and wake up with a sale or two from the night before since my online store is open 24 hours a day.

So how are you doing paying your bills? One of my monthly bills is car insurance. Do you find car insurance rates, actually all insurance rates, always rising? Here in Florida, that's the way I feel. You can't get good rates anymore. Well, maybe that's not all true. CarInsurance.com set up a website where you could compare car insurance quotes online to find the best rate for your buck and for your pocket. Their latest web release says, "Consumers can receive quotes from many insurance companies, in some states you are able to purchase your insurance instantly, online. You don't have to drive your car to buy car insurance. Buy online...anytime!"

Well, that's one bill down....how many more to go?

Amazon.com and my new Linksys Router.

I know this is not new information, but I have to share! I recently wrote a brief blog post about this new Linksys Router I bought and I decided to go to Amazon.com to see how much it would be if I bought it online through Amazon. It was exactly the same price (free shipping) as what I paid at my local Office Depot.

So what I decided to do was get an affiliate link back to that product through the "build a link" section in the affiliate menu. It was so cool. Instead of using their framed ads which I feel look kind of tacky, I was able to use an anchor text link. I know this is already a very popular thing to do, but it's my first time embedding my affiliate information into a link like that.

Did you know you could do that?

"Smile - You've Just Been Tagged!"

I am ever thankful for the kindnesses expressed towards me by people I don't even know! I would like to pass this on to you so that you can share these kindnesses with others. For example, the reason I started this blog was mostly because I couldn't figure out how people were paying for information that could be given away for free.

Since then, I've come across many many freebies that have nothing to do with surveys but that are extremely valuable to some of you. It goes to show that you don't always have to pay for quality. In fact, when it comes to one of the most valuable things we have to give, you and I can give it freely. It's a SMILE, so remember to pay it forward! Smile at someone today, even if it's yourself in the mirror.

I was reminded about this by this site: HelpOthers.org

Are you Popular Online?

How do you become popular online? Some people are naturally popular offline and in this day and age, those same people can be popular online as well by becoming a part of a large online community. People who sell products or services online are slowly becoming aware of this. I read a web release today that spoke about a very popular, modern and cutting edge community. Do you know if you are a part of that community? You probably are.

Do you blog? Bloggers are becoming more and more popular on the web and are helping to strengthen link popularity for many many companies worldwide. They are doing this by publishing content for companies like Blogitive. The web release I read today was written on a blog published by USWeb.com and if you have an online business or even a blog that you want more people to visit, then you will want to consider what they wrote about the best way to increase link popularity.

In that web release, they will point out the current importance of page rank and what blogging has to do with link popularity. Don't forget to check it out.

Fairfield Resorts - Free Information!

If you are anything like me, you have been thinking about when you are going to take your next vacation and then where you are going to go. I was reading a web release today that reminded me of just this. It was released by HolidayGroup.com.

The topic being discussed was Fairfield Resorts and after looking at the beautiful scenes on their site, I was taken away. If you knew me, you'd know that I need to be forced from my computer on a good day and most of the time, the one doing the forcing is me since I know I have other responsibilities besides completing surveys and blogging. Yes, I am a mother and wife and no, I don't neglect those responsibilities, but I was thinking the other night, when am I going to take some time for myself?

I told my husband that I just needed to get away, even if it was just for a few minutes, you know, to recharge my battery. Well, needless to say, taking a vacation is just the thing I need to do. I can't even help it. I'm always thinking about what's the next thing I can do to make a little money here or there to supplement what my hubby brings in. My mind is never at rest.

It can be a little stressful, so I was thinking about getting away, at least in my mind. What do you think about the picture below?

Esearch.com - My Thoughts!

I believe I've been signed up with Esearch.com for a little over a year now and have been paid a time or two to the tune of maybe $4-$8 per survey. However, I think I'm going to have to check on my demographic profiles on this one, because everything they are sending me, although the offerings are decent, I just haven't been qualifying not to mention the fact that I don't get very many invites.

It's funny too since in the introduction to the survey that you get via email, you are usually told what the survey is about and who they are looking for (i.e. female mother - between the ages of 30-35 willing to try a new product at home).

Although I may fall under all of those descriptions, I go through the preliminary survey questions and am told I don't qualify. I guess I don't get to answering the surveys as quickly as I could and others in my category have filled up the quota. Who knows? So what do you think about E-search? I'd love to hear your comments.

Focus Forward Update!

Woohoo!!!! I got a check in the mail today from Focus Forward for the $11 I mentioned the other night. Wow! That came fast. Now if I could just qualify for more of their surveys. Focus Forward seems geared toward hispanics and people who drink alcoholic beverages, at least those are the types of surveys that I've been getting in my email.

Although the compensation offers are very good I can never get pass the qualifiers because I am still nursing and so don't drink. That will be changing soon though, so Focus Forward, here I come. I qualified and completed two surveys since August, thus the $11. I'm a happy camper when I get checks in the mail, aren't you?

I can tell you that you don't have to be hispanic or be a drinker to sign up and to qualify for some of their surveys. What I just described has been my personal experience, so if you want to add to your survey company portfolio, Focus Forward seems to be a pretty good one to add.

Free Information on Getting an Online Degree

Have you ever thought of going back to school? Many of you may actually be in school still, now that I think of it, but some of you are mothers or fathers out of school now and taking care of children, trying to make ends meet and so forth.

Well, there is a way you can go to school online. Capella University was spoken about recently in a web release published by Capella.edu and it was explained that Capella University offers degree programs online. I had heard through conversations with others and even maybe reading about this, that colleges have online courses, but to actually get a whole degree online is rather intriguing.

Here are some of the highlights about their degree offerings according to the web relesae, "graduate degree programs in business, information technology, education, human services, and psychology, and bachelors degree programs in business and information technology."

It sounds like they are certainly modern and cutting edge. I'd think this is at least something to inspect a little more and see if it is up your alley.

If you have been reading this blog for a while, you may have noticed a time or two where I mention that I write (at times) for Associated Content and have been published on occasion. Well, you can do this too. In fact, they have two current $10 offers running that you may want to look into. Both are concerning the holiday season.

One article request is about "Best Places for Thanksgiving and Holiday Meals in ___ City or Where to Find Prepared Thanskgiving and Holiday Food in ___ city". This offer expires 11-10. The other article offer is about the "Top Ten Gift Ideas for ___ (fill-in-the-blank)" in your headline. This offer expires 11-17.

Are these topics challenging enough for you? Do you think it's worth $10?

Livewire.com

About a month or two ago, I mentioned that I signed up for a few new companies that I thought I'd try completing surveys for. Some were focus groups and others were similar to NFO MySurvey and Survey Savvy.

Livewire.com was one of those companies. I am very glad to report that this company is worth joining. Now, again, I always say that you won't get rich joining one or two, but having that extra pocket change sure helps.

For example, I just did a survey for them that I was compensated $12 for. Not bad for a 10-15 minute survey. I'm not kidding. The survey took only 10 to 15 minutes.

Don't you wish all the surveys you completed were like that one. I know I do.

Here is some information in an email that they sent when I first joined (by the way, this is not an affiliate link):
http://www.joinlivewire.com

All the information you provide is kept in the strictest confidence and is never provided to anyone at any time. You can review our privacy policy at www.livewireresearch.com/privacy

Once you register, you will automatically be invited to participate in surveys you qualify for. The thing that makes LiveWire special is that every time you answer one of our surveys, you are paid for your time and effort. There are no sweepstakes or points. Checks are mailed within 2-3 weeks of a survey's completion, every time. (Please note that your social security number will be required for payment and you will be asked to supply it with your first survey.)

Free Information on Buying Gold!

As you know, I read web releases at times, which reminds me that I actually need to prepare one for my website, but I digress. I read Monex.com's recent web release about buying different kinds of precious metals.

What I didn't know was that Monex.com has been around for 30 years in America. They have been in the precious metal industry helping their clients to purchase and invest. In fact, part of their company is Monex Deposit Company where you are given the option of purchasing silver, gold or other precious metals and even a gold coin or two.

After making the purchase, you can arrange for either immediate personal delivery or you can arrange for your metal to be stored safely and conveniently at an independent bank or other type of depository.

So, do you wanna buy some gold? It may still be one of the best investments to make.

One More New Blogitive Requirement!

Being a member of Blogitive may be getting more complicated, but once you decide to follow all of their requirements, you will be fine. One of the thoughts that is standing out to me is that they are saying they have lots of offers, but I haven't seen any in my account all week.

Well, onto their news. They did add one more requirement the other day that I neglected to mention and so let me get that on here now. Oh, and they also have a new blog job board too. Don't miss that. O.K. here is the email they sent:

If you haven't been to Blogitive in a while, there should be plenty of offers available to you!

There is also one new, SIMPLE, requirement for your Blogs. Because Blogitive clients pay for exposure on blogs, we are going to make a requirement that all blogs put their feeds through Feedburner. This is a free service, and will assure that your blog's content is syndicated through the Web effectively.

Also, we are happy to announce a new job board on the site that will allow companies to post positions open for professional bloggers. The board is located at jobs.blogitive.com. We also launched the new Blogitive blog last week on our home page. Please feel free to leave comments. If you would like to see us cover something on the blog, let us know.

Blogitive.com

Sincerely,

Brian Ratzker

So, what say you about all their new rules and what do you think about their job board?

Muscle Cars and Me!

You may have read some blog posts of mine where I talk about my QualityPedalCar.com website. On that site, there is a whole page dedicated to Muscle Cars and other diecast model cars, so you'll understand why I mention the fact that the Muscle Car Marathon will air November 24 at 9am EST on Speedtv.

What's your favorite muscle car? Do you like Chevelles, GTOs, Impalas, Cougars? They are some beautiful cars. Don't forget to watch the show. Again, it will air a few weeks from now, so mark your calendars.

After completing surveys and being promised a certain sum, isn't it nice to get those checks in the mail? I certainly think so. Over the last week or so, steady checks have been streaming in from surveys I did in the month of September and October.

Yesterday I received another $5 check. They are usually around $5 to $10 at most, but getting a few of those really adds up. I just got another email from Pinecone Research after having heard very little from them in the month of October, so that will be another $5. I am a happy camper.

How are you doing with your survey completions? Is it working out for you? By the way, on a side note, since many survey companies pay via PayPal, did you hear about the explosion?

I got paid by another company yesterday via PayPal, so I'm sure all is fine.

The Day After!

OK, so this is not a post about freebies, but I have to share. Yesterday was the day after everyone (well not everyone) chomped down on lots and lots of candy and goodies - October 31st! I gotta tell you that eating candy and goodies is definitely conflicting with my wanting to have a slim waistline. Where did it go, by the way?

Are you like me? Every morning I wake up and talk myself into not eating the extras that I ate the day before. I say, o.k. today is the day you start your diet. You have two months until the end of the year, so make it happen girl. I am hating the idea of having to diet to lose weight.

As a little lady, I never had to do that. I was one of those people who had so much energy that nothing would stick. I was called "flatty" in school and if you see me now you would never believe that. I was flat in front and in back. Wow! That memory just took me back.

Now, two children later, I am struggling with genetics and hate to say it, but I never thought I'd have to struggle. On the other hand, to look at most of the women in my family, I should have known. I guess we all have to do a little more exercise and eat a little less of everything, let alone candy.

And talking about Mr. Chunk Butt himself, PayPerPost's Ted shares his fat kid story on YouTube under this little post. I never thought of eating asparagus to lose weight and most assuredly don't want my pee to stink (you'll see what I mean after seeing the video), but at this point, I guess everything is worth a try. At least it's natural to eat asparagus instead of popping a diet pill. I'm still nursing my baby girl, so I have to go au natural. O.K. so here's the video:

Survey Company Successes!

O.K. So today I wanted to share a little bit about successess I've been having in the survey taking world. Survey Savvy has been regularly paying me about $2 - $4 a month. Woohoo!!! That's not a lot, I know, but it all adds up. Opinion Outpost paid me in the month of October, I believe twice.

If you can believe it, I also checked my Focus Forward account and found that I had earned $11 completing two surveys. I took a survey a while back and it ended so strangely, you know, not having a "done" button or anything, that I thought I would just miss out on the $5 promised, but when I went in to check my account the other day after succesfully completing another survey for Focus Forward, I was pleasantly surprised to see that I had earned over the cash out amount of $10.

Also, Your2Cents paid me last month and I have a few more dollars in there, but I can't get them out until I earn their $5 cash out requirement. I also noticed that my bottom line at Inbox Dollars increased by $5 in the month of October.

Lets see, oh, also Lightspeed paid me $15 for points I earned and Epoll offered me so many surveys in the month of October that I was able to request a gift card from Target for $10 and also earned enough to request another one. I am holding out for more points though so that I can get a better reward.

Finally, my new very favorite company, Global Test Market, paid me the $50 I had requested back in September after I found out that each point I earn makes me $.05. After I earned over 1000 points, I was so surprised to note that it was worth $50. I received the check like 5 weeks after I requested it. Now that I know how much their points are worth, I've been taking more surveys even though most times I don't pass the prequalification since I still get 5 points even if I don't complete the survey. I have earned in the month of October a total of 465 points to date. I can't wait to get back up to 1000 points with that company.

So you see, the money is really peanuts and not a full time job type deal, but it sure helps when you want to take the kids to the movies!

All of the links to these companies with the exception of Focus Forward can be found in the sidebar to your right. Some are affiliate links, but most are not. On top of that, the affiliate links earn me $0.50 to $1.50 if you sign up with my link. It's not a lot, but if you prefer not to sign up without my link, that's fine. You can still go directly to the site to check out the company for yourself.

Happy survey taking!
