Instant Profitz - Woohooo, $50 Richer!

Instant Profitz - Paid Again!!!

I have finally been paid my April payout from Instant Profitz. I made around $50, of which around $12 was out of pocket expenses for shipping and handling fees. So considering I wasn't really working too hard at making money with Instant Profitz in April, I'll take a $38 profit any day. Wouldn't you?

These are the offers I did:

1. PhoneHog.com 2006-04-16 (credited right away)
2. PureGenics Anti-Wrinkle Cream 2006-04-11 (I could not contact a live person at this company after my trial period was over. I left several messages regarding my request not to continue with automatic shipments. As of yet, I do not believe I have been charged, but I am keeping a close eye on my bill just in case.)
3. Instant Cast 2006-04-09 (credited right away)
4. OHT Peptide-3 2006-04-07 (I don't remember how long it took for this to credit, but I believe it was fairly quickly)
   

So what's that, like a half hour of work with signing up and in the case of these, eventually cancelling.

Regarding the delayed payout, you may know that usually Instant Profitz members are paid on or around the 20th of the month. It is now the 26th, so here is what Instant Profitz said in my Paypal note:

Hello InstantProfitz Members. I GREATLY apologize that your April payments took so long; it was due to very poor estimation in PayPal funds. Hopefully, we won't run into this problem anymore! On a happier note, don't forget to REFER, REFER, REFER. Many of our members are earning hundreds if not thousands of dollars each month from doing nothing at all; their referrals are earning all the free money from them! Thank you for making April a great month!

As an aside: Have you heard of North East Marine Electronics? Lately I find myself reading web releases and came across theirs. Free Survey Lists & More being a site that supports Free stuff is happy to share this excerpt from their web release with you fish finders out there:

SurveySpot.com - A Survey Company.

What do You Think About SurveySpot.com?

In my experience, SurveySpot has offered me lots of opportunities complete surveys and win sweepstakes offers, but I have not won anything to date. I have completed several of their surveys and actually one time, recently, they offered a cash payment for completing a survey which I qualified for. Happily, I recently received the check in the mail.

Counting all of the surveys I have completed with this company, I have to say that that small check was well overdue, lol, but honestly, I don't know if it is worth it to be a member anymore, especially considering that my whole objective in doing surveys is not only to give my opinion, but to get paid.

Here's what I am usually offered:

Are you a Blogitive Member? You Should Be!

I am loving this site and their concept to bring advertisers and bloggers together. Read my latest blog post about them at How To Make Internet Money.

Instant Profitz - Pay Week!!

Pay Week is HERE at Instant Profitz!!!

Well, it's finally here. Instant Profitz pays on the 20th of every month and you will get paid if you cashed out by the last day of the previous month, in this case, April 30th. If you are unsure of the cashout process and you are new to all of this, here is a brief overview from Instant Profitz, the horses mouth, or should I say, "The money's mouth." LOL!

How do I cashout, and when do I get paid?

You may cashout as soon as you earn above $20. A button will then appear on your account page, allowing you to cashout. Payments will normally be issued on or around the 20th of every month for the previous month's earnings. In order to get paid the proceeding 20th, you must cashout before midnight EST on the LAST day of the month (eg. cashout by Nov 30 to get paid Dec 20). Paypal payments will be issued much quicker than check or PNC Gift Cards, as the latter relies on the US postal system. You may delete and re-cashout as many times as you would like in a month; you will not lose any money by doing so.

On a different note: Have you ever thought of buying gold bars? That's prudent asset diversification strategy at any time. So, isn't that exciting. I have never been disapointed with this company. I've been paid $5 for each survey I complete and for each follow up survey should that be necessary. I get at least one survey a month, if not more and I have tried out several up and coming products.

Should You Join Global Survey Group?

I joined this company back in September of 2005 and this company offers you email advertisements to join other survey sites.

Guess what. I have not signed up for any sites that they suggest, because I learned through thorough research that these sites may be possible scams. I have not earned one cent because of this company. That is not to say that it isn't possible, so don't get me wrong.

I am sharing my personal experience with you, which if you want to know, is this. Signing up for this company will not get you invites to complete surveys. It will get you requests and offers to join other survey sites.

So do you join? If you do, you may be pleasantly surprised or like me, find that it's not worth it.

Cashing Out On Instant Profitz.

Do You Know When You Can Cash Out on Instant Profitz?

I thought that since I've talked so much about Instant Profitz on this blog, I'd remind those who are new to the site about when you are allowed to cash out, because the cash out amount recently changed. It use to be $30, but now.....

Instant Profitz - Paypal Fee Change!!

Instant Profitz - Another Good Report!

It seems that Instant Profitz is constantly working for its members in one way or another. My last post discussed how disappointed I was about advertisers not honoring their incentive offers, and that was really a bummer. On the other hand, Instant Profitz still offers some of the highest paying incentives in the "get-paid-to-sign-up" industry.

On that note, a new change in payouts recently came into effect, I believe this month, May, that I'm sure will be an exciting change for Paypal users. Usually, if you don't have a free account with Paypal, and many of us don't, Paypal charges a fee of 2.9% + .30 on monies received into your merchant account. Well, getting paid by Instant Profitz, this fee has been changed.

According to Instant Profitz, you will only be charged $1 regardless of the amount of money you made during the month.

Here is the information straight from their cashout page:

We charge a $1 fee. You will receive NO charges from Paypal. Arrives within 1-4 days of the 20th of the month. Due to some experience with fraud, we now require that all Paypal accounts be verified. If not, then we will cancel payment and hold it until you verify your account or choose another payment option.

They also offer the options below if you do not have a Paypal account:

We send the cashout amount via U.S. Mail, with a $1 charge for postage, supplies and labor. Arrives within 5-7 days of the 20th of the month.

This is exciting for members who have been making large amounts by signing up for products throught Instant Profitz. Some members claim to be making between 2 and $300 a month or more.

Me, I'm shooting for at least $100 this month. I'll keep you updated. :-)

Off Topic, but an interesting fact for contact lens users: Do you know how many people in the United States wear soft contact lenses? I was reading this web release today by Parker & Waichman, a Renu lawyer firm, who explains that "an estimated 30 million persons in the United States wear soft contact lenses." That's a lot of people! Do you think it's because of not eating enough carrots?

Advertisers Withholding Promised Incentives!

Instant Profitz Forum Announcement!!

I just read this very interesting post in the Instant Profitz forum and personally, I feel it is a little discouraging. The post is about having crediting issues for a promised incentive after signing up for a product or service through their company. I will only quote it in part. I hope you find it informative.

Credit requests can only be dealt with via Support Tickets so please submit your own support tickets for each offer missing credit

You must copy and paste the FULL confirmation e-mail that you recieved from the company. Full confirmaiton e-mail includes the following:

Where the e-mail came from, where the e-mail was going, the time the e-mail arrived in your inbox, the subject of the e-mail, and finally the full body of the e-mail.

Without a confirmation e-mail InstantProfitz cannot look for your credit, so if you have no recieved a confirmation e-mail you must contact the company that you signed up with and ask them to give you some sort of e-mail saying that you are a member with them.

You may request credit for paid offers only and not the freebie offers.

From now on you must be an active member in the service that you signed up for and wait at least 7 days to send in a manual credit request.

That last underlined sentence is what is disconcerting to me!

O.K., This is why it is discouraging to me. If one signs up for a product through Instant Profitz, legitimately wanting to try the product out, then if Instant Profitz promises a payment for the sign up, one should expect it.

Well, it seems that some advertisers are holding back their money so that Instant Profitz can't pay its people. Why? Call it getting smarter. These advertisers don't want to be taken advantage of. They want people who are genuinely interested in their products to sign up, not those who are only interested in the money promised. I can see where that makes sense to the advertiser. That's a given.

And so, if you decide to cancel before you get credit, then these advertisers are saying there is no leg to stand on. The product was not accepted, so the trial money can't be honored. If you are offered 30 days to try out the product, then does this mean you will not get credit if you cancel before the 30 days are up. Isn't it the consumers perogative to accept or cancel?

It seems unfair simply because it is within a persons right to be drawn by an incentive to trying a product out. That's why the incentive is placed there, right! Sometimes, during a trial period, a product is found wanting in one way or another and again within the consumers right, it is no longer accepted as a product of interest. The customer has decided to move on.

My firm belief is that the incentive should still be honored! If you are given a 7-day period to try out a product, then o.k. wait until day 6 or 7 to cancel. That is fair to the advertiser, but to later be told that the incentive will not be honored even though the product was legitimately "tried" is like being offered candy in a candy shop just to get you in there and then saying, well, since you didn't buy anything today, we can't give you what we offered you.

I currently have sent in three support tickets, two of which I am still an active member of the company and still within the "trial period" and one where I already cancelled because I honestly found the product not to my liking. I guess considering the above, I will not be getting credited for the one I already cancelled. :-(

My sole intent by writing this post has been to inform you, the consumers, and also to share ways to make Instant Profitz work for you. Not all offers fall within this problematic category. There are many offers that credit right away. This has been my experience. However, if you notice you have signed up for a "trial offer" and have trouble getting credited, did you cancel early? Just make sure that after a week has passed, even in the case of a 30-day trial, send in a support ticket and I also suggest you post your situation in the forum. It is a good place to get information fast.

Instant Profitz Lowdown

Success With Instant Profitz - How?

The purpose of this post is to review a few ways to have success with Instant Profitz along with a review of my April experience.

1. First and foremost, it is suggested that using Internet Explorer is the most acceptable way to have a positive experience with signing up.
2. It has also been suggested that if you are signing up for free offers offered by the same company, that you use a different email address for this. It is not considered fraudulent as long as you are using a legitimate email address. You can easily obtain a free email address by using Yahoo or Hotmail. (I would stress that you NOT use a main email address since you will be subject to a rediculous amout of spam!)
3. Thirdly, you must clear your cookies and cache before and after each offer sign up completion! Do not do this during the sign-up process. If you do not do this, crediting problems can arise.

Here is a preview of the suggested information on clearing cookies directly from the Instant Profitz:

If you are using Internet Explorer, the program may be blocking your cookies and thus you will not get credit for most, if not all, of the offers you are signing up for. At the Medium setting, which is the default, IE blocks "third-party cookies that do not have a compact privacy policy." Often, the advertisers you can connect to on our site do have a compact privacy policy, but the cookies they create or access are NOT located on their site. Instead, they are located on a third-party site that may not have a compact privacy policy.

To remedy this situation, click "Tools" on the IE menu bar. Click on "Internet Options", and then find the "Privacy" tab. The slider should be then set to "Low." This should fix a majority of crediting problems. This will not reduce Internet security for you; it just allows tracking and crediting to be completed properly. You may return your settings after using InstantProfitz, if desired.

As hinted above, offers will not credit if done multiple times from the same IP address. Often cookies will also keep the signup email address or a physical mailing address, and advertisers use that information to prevent multiple signups from that particular IP, email, address, etc. Though it MAY be two different people, it is possible that it is just one user attempting to defraud a website. Similarly, certain free offers might not credit properly if you attempt to complete several offers from the same advertiser. You are not seen as a unique user, so any attempts to do multiple offers from the same advertiser - only when they are actually different from each other - should be done by waiting a period of time in between and clearing cookies during that interim.

Our Recommendations:
• Keep cookies ON.
• Keep JavaScript ON.
• Clear cookies before starting offers, but NOT during.
• Reconfigure any firewalls to allow InstantProfitz transactions.
• Remember that offers done with any non-unique info (same IP, etc.) might not be credited by advertisers.
• For best results, use the same email address you signed up with for all offers.

Now continuing with my April experience:

I have continued to learn what to do and what not to do when it comes to getting credited for signing up for different company offers. In total for the month of April I earned around $50. Now this is not bad considering that I didn't really make it over to Instant Profitz a lot during the month because I was so busy doing other things that actually weren't as profitable, but well, you know, they needed to be done.

I signed up for OHT-Peptide-3 - This offer sign up was a little misleading on the part of the company, not Instant Profitz. Why? Because you are told in the Terms of Service that you will receive a 7-day free trial period of the product. However, in fact, you are sent a full 30-day supply and if you are not happy with the results, not only did you have to initially shell out shipping and handling in order to receive the product, but you will have to upfront the cost at the end of the trial for the return shipment. Customer service told me that they have no way of sending an actual 7-day supply.

Hmmmm!!!! Like I said, a little misleading at sign up. In the welcome email you receive it does delineate the agreement in clearer detail regarding the fact that you are going to receive a full 30 day supply. Oh well, I did make out good on that one because I argued with customer service about being misled and so they paid for the return shipment.

I also signed up and had no problems with Instant Cast, Netflix and Purogenics. Netflix has a delayed crediting in place until after you have completed the trial. If you like the product (which I do highly recommend if you are into movies) and you continue to use the product, you will get the credit. I believe that if you cancel (which I didn't do so am not absolutely positive, but after reading a post in the Instant Profitz forum, I believe you will not get the credit).

At the end of the month I signed up for the South Beach Diet with the full intent on using the product, but have been bad in the diet arena :-( so I still have access to it until the end of the month. You have to pay a sign up fee of $65 for the first 13 weeks ($5/week), but if you decide to cancel within the first month, you are reimbursed $45 of that ($65 - $20 for the first month). Again this one has a delayed crediting in place.

I am not sure how long it will be before I get credited, but I expect the full $40 promise from Instant Profitz who has yet to disappoint me. I have not cancelled my account with this company yet as I am still within the trial period, but I will also be getting back $45 of my initial deposit with them, so that will give me a profit of $20. Not bad really when you think about it, especially since I was thinking of dieting anyway.

There were three other companies I signed up for and did not receive credit, Laura Berman's Passion Prescription (although it says FREE trial, you are suppose to sign up after getting your "prescription" - no medication, just words of advice), RealtyStore.com and AutomaticBuilder.com. In each of these cases, not receiving credit was because of an error on my part that I described in an earlier post. I'll refer you to it here:

Quality Health Survey Company

Addition to Free Survey List.

When I signed up with the SurveyPro a few months back, one of the ways I earned money with them was by signing up for 20 of the survey companies on their free survey list. I then proceeded to fill out their support from with the welcome emails I received from those companies. They then quickly paid me right into my Paypal account, I think at the time it was $13. It may be more now; I'm thinking $15. That was my first payment as a professional survey taker.

Well anyway, one of those companies I signed up for was called Quality Health.com, a company whose focus is on a health lifestyle resource.

I have enjoyed receiving emails from them, not necessarily because they have paid me, or I have earned points. They are not really set up like that. In fact, their surveys are usually very short in nature and ask questions related to your health, new prescription drug medications on the market and other health products you may have used.

Usually, when you are invited to complete a survey, you are also offered answers to thought provoking questions about health related matters such as, "Do you know how to pick fresh eggs?" After you complete surveys you are given the answer to such questions and also may be offered the opportunity to try a new product on the market.

Associated Content - I've Been Published!!!

First Article Has Been Published!


You may have read an earlier post of mine suggesting Associated Content as a place to submit your blog articles to for payment. This company accepts just about anything your write about as long as it follows good grammar rules and a few other not so difficult requirements.

Well, I submitted an article I didn't really expect to be accepted, but it was accepted and I was paid $4. The really nice thing about that is that I had written the article here with the intention to blog it as free information for you.

I had no intention of getting paid for it or publishing it outside of this very comfortable space. Then I heard about Associated Content and there I was one day, not too long ago, deciding to submit my article. They accepted it and now it is published for everyone to see. Isn't that great!!!

I am very serious about the fact that you can write about anything you find yourself knowledgeable about or even just informed about. For example, I recently read a web release about Paintball guns.

Have you ever heard of Paintball guns? Well in a recent web release published by ZephyrPaintball.com, they explained that "Paintball guns (also called paintball markers) were originally used by the forestry and farming industries to mark trees and cattle." It goes on to explain how necessary modifications were made in order to prevent injury to humans. These modifications continued and currently paintball guns are used for sport.

The web release continues to describe further uses for this sports equipment as well as the cost involved. After reading this, if you are familiar with this topic yourself, write a brief article about it and submit it to Associated Content. What do you have to lose? It is worth a try!

Survey Companies That Have Not Worked For Me!

Signed Up, Completed Surveys, No Payment :-(!

I started completing surveys back in September of last year when I was looking to add to my income streams. Needless to say the process of signing up with different companies seemed never ending at first, having to complete all of those demographic surveys that offer no payment attached.

Most survey companies suggest that filling out these important "pre-qualification" surveys will help put you in the proper category to be sent x amount of surveys. Being sent x amount of surveys will set you up with the opportunity to earn points, money, gift cards, a chance to win in one of their latest sweepstakes, etc. You know what I'm talking about.

Well, here is a list of a few companies that I joined, properly filled out the pre-qualification questionnaires, completed an unknown amount of surveys, etc. etc. (all the right things) and in my experience it was either difficult to reach their payout terms, or I never received payment because of not qualifying or not winning a sweepstake.

1. Global Survey Group - This company seems to just send invitations to join other survey companies;

2. GlobalTestMarket.com - For whatever reason, I rarely seem to qualify for any of the surveys this company sends and have been slowly collecting points (2 or 3 points at a time). I am now at 600 and counting and will not be able to cash out until I reach 1000. I've been with this company since September 2005. The great thing about this company though is that they do offer lots of chances, sometimes three or four times a week or more, so you may want to sign up with this one. It may just be that I don't fit into the right category or demographic for them.

3. Greenfield (GOZing) - I rarely receive any offers from this company and don't recall ever being paid by them.

4. i-Say Ipsos - All the surveys I receive promise that you will be entered into a sweepstakes to win big, but I haven't yet.

5. Panda Research - Haven't received many offers to do surveys. Again, the companies I am listing I have been with since September of last year. My life hasn't drastically changed that I would need to update or modify my previous prequalification survey entries.

6. Survey Spot - Nope...only promises that I may win in one of the latest sweepstakes, but never have.

7. Synovate - Same as in No.6

OK, these are a few of the companies I have joined since September 2005 and my experiences with them. You may have had a different experience and, if so, I welcome your comments. I know that it is possible to win a sweepstakes offer, but the chances seem slim to none in my case, actually none. :-)
